I’m honored to kick off my friend Frederick Lee Brooke’s blog tour for his newest release COLLATERAL DAMAGE, the 3rd book in his acclaimed Annie Ogden mystery Series. Check out the link for more details about a giveaway and links to visit the rest of the blogs on the tour.
Last year, I helped with the release of the 2nd book in the series, ZOMBIE CANDY, by writing a poem, which you can read here. I had so much fun with that blog tour! Imagine my surprise when reading COLLATERAL DAMAGE and discovering a poem inside. It was a poem sign! And so, I thought it was fitting to continue my little tradition, by writing another little ditty in order to share Fred’s exciting new book with you.

What I loved:Fred’s three Annie Ogden mysteries are a lot of fun to read. DOING MAX VINYL introduced us to Annie in her post-army honorably-discharged Chicago life, where her heart is only outweighed by her baggage. ZOMBIE CANDY followed Annie and her old friend to Italy where great lengths were taken to teach someone a much-needed lesson. COLLATERAL DAMAGE made me feel for Annie in a way I have not before. We know her now, and there is so much at stake. And it only gets steeper from here.
