And so it is afoot! If you’re new to the area and awestruck by what is amassing alphabetically with this seemingly abstract #atozchallenge absurdity (I assure you it is awesome), then allow me to alleviate any ambiguity.
The A-to-Z Challenge is an annual affair started by a guy named Arlee Bird and put on for the amusement of the audience and to form an alliance among all us blog folks around the globe. Join in or follow along, there are over 1600 blogs participating this year. A letter a day, all April, Sundays excluded except today for it is April 1 and what would this challenge be if it started on April 2? Please.
I’ll keep the posts short and turn off comment word verification so you can pop in and say hi and race off to the next blog.
And now that it is all abundantly apparent, I give you today’s word:
verb: To flee, to leave without warning
Just say it aloud a few times… Wouldn’t it be strange to travel back in time to when words like absquatulate were used? I can imagine it ringing through the hallowed halls of the courtrooms of yore.
“Your Honor, I would like to call my next witness to testify but she has absquatulated to points unknown.”
I hope you’ll stick around as I try to find some fun and obscure words to share with you.

And finally – the WINNER from last week’s giveaway of BREAK by Hannah Moskowitz is:
