As promised, I will begin an at-home trial of the Lemongrass Spa foot care products that I have here, and share that with you in preparation of the upcoming sale of Lemongrass Spa products to benefit RTF.
This morning, I was plagued with my dry heels and decided to lube up with step 3, and then proceed tonight with the three products in their proper order. This evening, I will be trying the following products that are a part of a 3-step adventure in foot-love:
- Herbal Foot Soak: This has the most amazing smell! The consistency is that of sea salt, and looking into the glass jar you can see flecks of dried herbs. The aroma is of spearmint, although it contains the essential oils of peppermint, spearmint and tea tree. The instructions state to sprinkle 2 tablespoons of the mixture into a tub of hot water and when it dissolves to soak my feet for 15 minutes. I am salivating just thinking about it.
- Walnut Foot Scrub: This product looks like cocoa, and is to be rubbed onto my wet feet after the soak. The last time I did this, I used my bare hands, although it said you could use a wash cloth as well. Tonight I will use the wash cloth. This contains the same essential oils as the soak, among other ingredients like orange peel, lemon peel and sunflower oil.
- Peppermint Foot Balm: This has a waxy consistency on par with the Nail Balm that I mentioned here. So you have to scrape a small amount out of the jar. As soon as you begin to rub it into your skin, it starts to melt (like buttah!) and spreads well. This has a peppermint smell, and I feel quite cozy in my cotton socks since applying it. I think this will be a good prep, having applied this prior to the first two, since my feet were in bad shape after walking in sandals on Sunday at the Boulder Festival.
Stay tuned… I know this is very exciting and you must be nervous that your alarm clock won’t go off in time for you to catch the follow-up post. ;)
